Victoria Park Villa

For this returning couple, both high-flying professionals relocating back to Singapore, the brief was simple: a contemporary, timeless home with a hotel-like feel. Taking cues from the house’s façade, I wrapped the entire interior in fabric wallpaper to evoke a soft, luxurious atmosphere. The couple entertains family often, so I relocated the dining area to the basement which is a bold move that suited the structure, as guests enter from that level. A square dining table I previously designed for them was brought into the new space for continuity. The wife enjoys cooking, so a marble and mirror-clad island was created as the heart of the home where is serves as a place for conversations, gatherings, and everyday moments. Clean, simple detailing runs throughout, while feature lighting at varied heights celebrates the home’s generous ceiling height. With shared trust and understanding, this project flowed seamlessly as a sophisticated, personal home tailored exactly to their lifestyle.
