When we first met up with the homeowners, they name-dropped "The Cottage" from Master Of None - a rather eclectic, quirky farmhouse depicted in the Netflix breakout series. An expanse of outdated faux white brick wall inherited from the previous owners was purposefully weathered & textured by hand, a nod to the adobe finishes commonly found in the American Southwest.

Already blessed with glass sliding doors all along its length, a further 3 walls were hacked down to completely flood the living area with natural light.

Predominantly white, paired with earthy apricot & pine green accents, the overall effect is comforting and makes for an airy, practical space that combines privacy with the flexibility of entertaining.
