Monochrome was the theme, thus the use of black, white and grey. To accentuate the high ceiling, we use vertical design elements like the full height carpentry wall-cladding and textured wall to draw your eyes upwards. A modern chandelier approach by using the cloud-like New Works Tense pendant lamps, creating a sense of grandeur and make the space feel even more expansive. The wall claddings are extended into the long passageway with concealed doors to hide away most of the doors, which include the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, bomb shelter as well as an area for the washer. Black is used in dining and master bedroom to create a sense of intimacy and drama, while using white for living room to create a sense of spaciousness and brightness. Grey as an accent colour to introduce a sense of cosiness and balance the tones of black & white. To make the dining space more versatile, cushioned carpentry settee was integrated, providing a comfortable place for dining & work.
