With the original walls hacked away, it allows the kitchen counter to flow seamlessly into the original dining area. This enhances the space visually, making the living area look spacious.  In the kitchen, laminate was used for the cabinets’ finishing. A contrasting laminate was chosen to elevate the sharp contrasting color of black and white while providing a textured finishing to the sleek look in the kitchen  Doors and skirtings of the floor were painted white to create a consistent theme throughout the home.
