It is our unwavering belief that a home should always speak the story of its inhabitants.

In this project, we focused on examining and re-examining the home owners' lifestyles, instead of being fixated with a certain style or thematic look. It is a process of finding out, exploration and ideation.

One of the tall orders we were tasked with was to fit the owners' personal collection of uniquely-curated furniture pieces from their previous home. In a bid to re-think living spaces to attune to the owners' love for hosting, we debunked the conventional need for a standby guest room and converted it to a TV room for entertainment. We elevated the entire TV room with a platform, reclaiming precious real estate space that was previously forfeited by the original positioning of a bay window. The platformed room not only provided additional storage spaces neatly hidden below their feet, but also endows a more robust entertainment space to accommodate their curated furniture.

The living room was designed with the home owners' work-life harmony in mind. A huge dining table spans across the room, befitting their hosting of multiple social events. On weekdays, the table doubles up as a work-from-home space along with the bookshelves and piano as a backdrop.

To us, interior design should stay honest and true to the home inhabitants' lifestyles and personalities.
