This home is designed for two occupants with no plans for children, allowing for highly flexible space planning. The overall design direction combines mid-century and modern aesthetics, featuring rich dark wood tones to create a warm and grounded atmosphere.
To maximize openness, the dining area and Bedroom 3 were combined, visually enlarging the home and creating a sense of spatial continuity. The dining space was carefully proportioned to accommodate both everyday relaxation and gatherings of up to 12 people.
Given the owners’ passion for coffee, a dry pantry was incorporated into the dining area to provide a convenient brewing station and display space. The master bedroom features extensive wardrobe storage to meet organizational needs, while Bedroom 2 is dedicated as a home office.
Glass elements were introduced in the TV wall and the entryway to enhance visual connectivity between spaces. The entryway glass door maintains a sense of openness while serving a practical function by keeping kitchen fumes contained, balancing aesthetics and utility.
