The concept of a contrasting colour palette instead of a very light colour Scandinavian was carried out throughout the apartment, from the living room to the bedroom. The dark contrast was highlighted with a light feature and the curved alcove lighting

The floor-to-ceiling bookshelf was designed with storage below to contain bulky items such as luggages as the store room was demolished.

The terrazzo floor and the flutted glass panel maintains the privacy of the study area while allowing light to pass through the entire unit.

The floor-to-ceiling cabinet across the living area lends an extended view of the space. It stores the pull-down bed to allow the space to be easily converted into a guest room. The colour tone for the bed from Spaceman was chosen to be as close as possible with the laminate selection to create a seamless look.

The foldable dining table from the Danish design is able to be converted from a single pax to 6-8 pax dining table when necessary.

The kitchen island with the glass partition was designed to cater to the homeowner's love for baking. The short distance from the oven to the island was used frequently.

The support for the door/glass window was created as a design and light feature.

The backsplash chosen was a dark colour to emphasize the light features with terrazzo texture and patterns to match with the living room's original tiles.
