Inspired by industrial areas and cafes, cable trays were incorporated to house the cables and pipings, giving a rugged and chic look to the place, while allowing maintenance works to be more convenient.

A long dining table and long sofa was added due to the homeowners' love for hosting.

The colour of the home was inspired by brutalist design, with the walls cement screeded to create a moody yet cosy atmosphere. Black wood and teak wood were selected for the finishing of the carpentry for an honest, natural and timeless look. 

To keep things hidden from guests and the homeowners' cats, a stretch of floor to ceiling cabinets with black wooden sliding doors was created. A metal ladder with a track on the tall cabinets was also added to maximise storage space and provide easy access to the higher cabinets.
