I will want to understand the requirements from the home owners. Ideally I will prefer to not get too many mood board pictures, as we like to design our own and not necessarily copy ideas homeowners bring to the meeting. It is best to understand the preferences, general ideas and perhaps a one directional picture for the preferred style, and then leave it to me to propose a concept design. In the follow up meeting we will dive deeper into the proposed styles and materials.
Within 2 weeks after the first consultation
A fee of $12.50 per square foot is chargeable, consisting of 4 phases:
1) Planning – finalising floorplans, running a full scope of works for contractors to quote on and artist impressions. Depending on the scale of the project, we offer between 10 to 20 artist impressions. We offer 2 changes to the design and up to 3 changes on each render (in terms of colour etc)
2) Detailing – all technical drawings and material selections. Technical drawings can go up to 50 pages, depending again on the scale of the project – unlimited revisions if required
3) Site management – overseeing the contractors on site
4) Basic styling – assisting with the purchase of key furniture and styling items as well as appliances, fittings and soft furnishings
For example, we may charge a design fee based on 1200 square foot for a 2000 square foot apartment.
Yes, I will be liaising with the homeowner for all design consultations and quotation-related queries, including managing the project.
I will be accompanying all homeowners for the respective shopping processes, including shopping for materials, furniture, fittings, soft furnishings and accessories.
1-year warranty under third party contractor, while the warranty for some products may be longer

We scoured the internet and had many meetings with various designers for a full renovation on our resale unit. Arjan’s style really stood out as clean and timeless but far from boring.
Loved how he was the only one who thought out of the box in a practical manner with regards to space remodeling and it worked perfectly (despite our reservations in the beginning).
He also strikes a rare and nice balance between providing recommendations and adhering to your requirements. Working with him was an enjoyable experience, much to our surprise – assumed we would be pulling out hairs at the end of a big project like this!
Arjan also has a very interesting approach to budgeting, we think this works much better than the usual way and helps give a more positive experience to customers overall. Would definitely use this ID company again in future 🙂
Did a 5 room total makeover for my resale HDB with Arjan. People say renovation is a painful process to endure. We have learnt that it is inevitable, for the work is complex and laborious. What was most important is that the person in charge is committed to provide solutions should any unprecedented issues occur. Arjan hands-down possesses these qualities.
More importantly, he made it such a fulfilling experience. He’s a master at his work – great taste and practical; a true blue interior designer. We love our home and the experience living in it. I’d engage him all over again!
Price wise – you get for what you pay for. Arjan has a certain standard of material quality that he uses. The finishing of work, be it carpentry, painting, tiling is of a higher standard than the norm. Price is reasonable when compared in the range of similar standards.
On a personal note to Arjan, thank you for such a joyful and wonderful time working together. It is a privilege and blessing to also know you personally. We hope we have also been good clients to work it. Thank you for all your patience and grace with our nuances. You always choose empathy during the time it gets tricky – we really appreciate it.
I was very impressed by its Principal Designer, Arjan, who pays attention to details, functionality and aesthetics. I like that his designs are timeless and classic. The traditional details often give the house its character and warmth. He is also always able to provide amazing ideas in sprucing up the house. As I was away from Singapore during the first half of the renovation, Arjan took really good care of things. I did not follow up much and was extremely pleased to come back to seeing all the masonry works done well. He is communicative, patient, assuring and quick to resolve issues. I am also very thankful that he was able to help me pick some of my furnishings. I really enjoyed working with him for my first home!
